Continuing the Ultracast theme this week, Kevin and Teresa also sent me three new prop & spinner sets for Hasegawa’s 1/48 Fw-190A-F kits. As with all other Ultracast resin products, they are of superior casting and quality. If you’re planning on building the Hasegawa Fw-190 kit, check out the Ultracast site for pics of the resin parts compared to the kit part- it really shows what a dramatic difference these make in both detail and accuracy. Best of all- they’re affordable, each set being $12.95 CDN.
The parts are based on measurements from surviving examples, so they’re about as accurate as can be.
