Forum member Ernie Schafer presents his first build of 2011- a Predator! I’ve seen this in 1/72 scale, and it’s quite large even for that scale. I bet it’s really big in 1/48! Great work Ernie.
Here is the Predator finished!! My first finished build of the year to boot! The finish is Model Master Light Ghost Grey over a light preshade and a grey oil wash of the panel lines. Over all finish is a coat of Micro Flat, I used some weathering pigments to simulate the dust on the tires, rusty effects on the brake rotors and the exhaust residue. The nose pitot is scratch built from brass wire as none is included in the kit, the tab is made from paper soaked with super glue, and stretched sprue for the secondary pitot on the tab.
