Well I finished the Nieuport. I took Bob’s (forum member Bob Booth, aka bobs_buckles) advice on the clear coat. I shot semigloss from the front and flat on the rest. The effect is exactly what I was looking for. Some of it shows in the pics. I used a wash starting on the front and feather in back for an exhaust and oil effect. I still have to figure out what I’m going to use to rig it and plan it out. But the biplane itself is done! Here are some pics to prove it.
