Forum member Lee (chopperlover) posted these pictures of his Revell “General Lee”. I loved watching “The Dukes of Hazzard” as a kid. It was what you did on Friday nights- watch the Duke boys outrun and outfox Boss Hog and Sherrif Roscoe P. Coltrane. I still love watching that show- what memories. And of course, the Duke’s ’69 Charger “General Lee” became a TV icon. It still looks cool today- great job Lee!
Here is my General Lee. I used Revell’s 69 Charger, AMT’s wheels and tires, and aftermarket decals. Sanded the vinyl top off, used Hemi Orange paint. Hope you enjoy.
nice model, are those keith marks decals? a friend of mine makes decals for lee. if you are not in our club already try and join us at http://www.cglfc.com it is about dukes of hazzard.
Nice looking model man, I like building models also myself. I see you started with a good model kit as well, a Revell kit, that is the choice I would have went with as well myself for a model kit for a General Lee model build. If you would like to see some of my models drop by http://m0parmansmodelcars.com.p8.hostingprod.com/ when you have a chance. In the mean time keep the good work man.
