Here is Accurate Miniatures’ 1/48 Grumman TBM Avenger. I started this a while back but it got put on hold until a few weeks ago. This is one of the most detailed OOB kits I have ever built. The fit is really pretty good until you try to put the turret in. If you build this kit save yourself a ton of time and go to Acc Min’s website for instructions on how this is done. It really will fit. I painted this one as one of the Avengers flown by former president George H. W. Bush. I used the kit decals which worked well with micro-sol and polly scale paint. I have not installed an antenna wire yet, that will have to come later.
