Brett Green has released another in his Hyperscale Resource Guide series, this time for the Avro Lancaster in 72nd scale. The guide is provided as a downloadable PDF, which will require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader if you don’t have it.
The guide is well-written in Brett’s easy reading style, and it’s 24 pages are packed with build photos and color profiles. Airfix, Hasegawa and Revell kits are detailed thoroughly, and a handy chart compares the pros and cons of each kit. If you’re thinking about building a Lancaster, or have one in your stash, this will be a handy thing to print out and have on the workbench next to you. And even if you’re not building a Lancaster, this is a great read to see how Brett handles the ins and outs of the three very different makes of kit chosen for this guide.
