If you’ve been modeling for more than just a few days, you’ve probably visited Hyperscale, arguably the best online resource for modelers worldwide. Brett Green, Hyperscale’s editor, does a fabulous job of sharing his own awesome modeling talent, and also brings many other top modelers work to the attention of the modeling community.
Brett is also an author, having published more than a few books on modeling various aircraft. I have used his “Modeling the P-40” as a reference for every P-40 build I’ve done, and he has several others that every modeler should consider.
Now he’s come out with another great resource for modelers, combining his writing and building talent with his web site. And best of all- it’s FREE!
Announced just today on Hyperscale is a an online book in PDF format, “Building the Messerschmitt Bf 110 E in 1/48 scale”. It is packed with information, including a brief history of the aircraft, two color profiles, a list of available kits, and a detailed build section on the recently released Eduard 1/48 scale Bf 110 E.
You can visit Hyperscale and download the PDF, print it out, and have it on the workbench as a reference as you work! And Brett says he’ll be releasing a similar guide every three months- so mark your calendar.
And thanks to Brett Green for all the great work he does to help modelers enjoy our hobby even more.
